 Can you save the community?

Today we are creating a piece of narrative writing about a comic book hero! 

You are to use the picture on the right as your story starter or even your story finisher. Not sure what this means? Well, the picture could depict what is happening in the beginning of your story. You would describe the events from the picture then tell your audience what happens next. Or if you’re using the picture as your story ending, what are the events that led to this action packed scene?

Use the table below to answer the main questions for your narrative before you begin writing!

Problem:	Doctor Doom has set out on a journey back to Earth to Destroy it. Little did Doctor Doom know he was heading straight to his Demise, maybe that is? Maybe he will turn good.
Solution:	Their last solution is to find a weakness for the Dark Absorber and destroy him or it hopefully for good.
If beginning, what could happen next?
In the end, what happened before this scene?
Begin your writing here: Mary Jane was falling from the sky after she fell off the tower then spider man dived off the Stark Industries tower to catch Mary Jane. As Strange and Thor fought off The Dark Absorber.  Now you might be asking how are we here? Well let’s start from the beginning. It had been a while since the last time Thor and Doctor Strange had seen the Dark Absorber and seen light. They had been stuck in that one lab for 1 year. It was 2022 October the 13th. They had been focusing on their project for 1 year. On that day their lives would be met by an old friend who escaped from the clutches of you know who. He had been living with Mary Jane for the last past year. They had been living in a secret area away from The Dark Absorber. One day Spidey went to visit the lab yet he didn’t know it was occupied. He went inside to look for supplies to take back to the shelter. He then used his spidey sense and heard mysterious noises coming from the inside. At that moment he realized whose voices those were. They were the voices of a mighty god and a supreme sorcerer. “Doctor Strange, Thor, where are you!?” asked spidey. We're over here Says Doctor strange. Spider man walked towards the sound and saw Strange and Thor building a machine. “It is powered by my lightning and it is ready”. Doctor Strange then says Yes, now we must send it to Stark Industries tower. Alright said Spiderman let's do this. But then there was a big sound, a big THUMP coming from outside the door. “He’s here” says Thor. They ready their arms but to their surprise a beaten up Doctor Doom appears at their door. In a shattered voice he says “Help Me Please” he then trips over knocking himself out. Doctor Strange takes him to a bench and puts him down. “He’s pulse is low and he is nearing death but I can help him” a few hours later. Doctor doom is up to fool health. Spiderman then gets a call from the Stark Industries tower. “Hello” said Spiderman and on the other side was a crying Mary Jane. “Help me Pete please” the phone is then cut. “STRANGE WE NEED TO GO NOW!” says Spider man in a furious voice. “Why?” said Doctor Strange. He has  Mary Jane in a crying voice. “Fine we shall go now” says Thor. “What About me says Doctor Doom. you shall not fight us you shall help us fight him says Spiderman. They proceed to go to the Tower with the machine. “This ends now Dark absorber” says Doctor strange. “No your time has ended” Says Doctor Doom stabbing Doctor strange. “What” says Thor and  Spiderman. I have accomplished my mission. “Good Doctor Doom now to show your loyalty. Throw her off the Tower'' says DA. Strange says no because he sent in a clone because they planned his fake death blah blah blah big battle and then there’s the part where Mary Jane is thrown off by DA. Now we are back here with Pete catching Mary Jane. he swings up and punches DA. DA gets blasted to space and lives but he goes to another universe WITH A BIG FAT BLACK HOLE. and he is never heard from again or so they thought. MWAHAHAHAHA. THE END

DA stands for Dark Absorber.

Communities are groups of people who live together in a particular area, for us, our community the area we live in is called Tāmaki. It is where we go to school, play our sports, go to church, buy our food, visit our friends, spend time with our family, and so many other things.

Begin your writing here: One day at a place full of so much wonder (armageddon auckland 2021). Me, mum, dad and Zatanna were going to a place where people like to dress up. I came as Harry Potter and I forgot what my sister was wearing. I enjoyed my time there. We saw so many anime characters and different versions of Batman. This day was Fri, 26 Nov 2021. This event was at ASB Stadium. It was filled to the brim with people. The reason why they were doing it is because... Well i don’t really know it was just there. One year we went there and there were creepy clowns with a lot of fake blood. They were very good with their costumes. They scared the living daylights out of me. Yet now I wonder why did I fear them. most probably because THEY WERE SCARY and was just a kid back then. How I got there was by car. We also saw the one tree hill because it was just across the road from the expo. So I was pretty interested in the expo when I was there but some costume’s reminded me of a dark past full of despair and dea… wait where was I right it was a fun little adventure nothing more nothing less.

Begin your writing here: Paragraph 1: It all started on the 9th of February 2021. It was that time of the year again where I had to go to school to learn more things. I was so excited to see my old friends and find out who my new teacher was. It would be time to finally see Elijah, Izyn and Jacob once more.  Paragraph 2: As I got ready for school I pondered the question: who was my teacher for the year?  Little did I know it was going to be Teachers.  When I got in the car I was still bound to that very same question: who would it be? After a few minutes driving I had finally arrived at Pt England School. I said bye to whoever was in the car and worked my way to the crossing where I saw the big red gates with an Electronic sign showing a lot of things.  Paragraph 3: It had been a while since I last saw a teacher as I waited I bumped into some familiar faces. I said “Hi” and they said hi back. After a while the bell rang and we migrated to the hall. After the assembly we were told which teacher’s we were going with. I was shocked to hear that I was with Mrs Lagitupu because she was my extension teacher. It was also surprising to find out Miss West took her place. I also found I have three teachers. So from there I climbed and climbed to the peak of my intelligence. The End.

My Story of Friendship

Spending time with friends is one of the things I’ve missed the most about  lock down. It’s made Mr Hughes think about all of the fun times I have had with my friends over the years; the trips we’ve taken, the birthdays, the adventures we’ve been on, 

 and the trouble we got in to.

These memories are ones I will treasure forever.

Oh how I miss those days.

Begin your writing here: Before all of this covid when we were allowed to see our friends at school Elijah, Jacob and I would figure out something to do. We would usually talk about games, Star Wars Quizzes and much more. We would also draw some things on Google Drawings and sometimes those drawings would be something from mortal kombat or Jacob would begin to draw Godzilla.  We were all good at drawing on our chromebooks and we had our ups and downs. Sometimes we would Play fight as Star Wars Characters which was interesting. But now we barely even get to do that. At least we are still the best of friends. Another favorite activity was to go to Miss West Room at lunch time to work on either our Scratch Project or our Raps, mainly our beat.      We would also play tag with a few more friends around the school. Sometimes the tagger would act as their favorite character. Mine being a Evil Emperor from Star Wars. Elijah being Dath Vader and Jacob Darth Maul or Vader Wanna be Kylo Ren. ya thats what we would do before covid hit again. I hope one day that Covid Leaves. FOR GOOD! The End

Fact 1 - The tree they use to make Tapa Cloth is called a paper mulberry tree

Fact 4 - Samoans introduced Hiapo to Niue.

Fact 3 - They have to clean and then beat the bark from the paper mulberry tree to turn it into Tapa Cloth.

Fact 1 - One of the main Foods of Niue is actually Coconut Crab.

Fact 2 - Common Niuean foods have Either taro, bananas, coconuts, tapioca, yams, and breadfruit.

Fact 3 - Takihi is also a very delicate food. It is also very popular. They are also made up of sliced pieces of taro or pawpaw.

Fact 4 - Like any Island they have Raw Fish which to them is Ota.

Begin your writing here: This is way back before covid happened. Toa, blessing and I were training for rugby league. One day the time had come to put our skills to the test. We were going to go to the rugby field on Dunkirk road. Our first game was against a specific i forgot the name of. I was supporting Toa and Blessing from the side then when it was my turn I supported them. I think we won that round. The second round we didn’t and the last round we also didn’t  win. But throughout all those games we supported each other.  All i can remember is that the other pt England team won the whole Competition. We all had fun that day. Also it was the best day of the term for me. THE END
