The 7 Sisters of Matariki

In a far away place that nobody dear goes,

There are 7 sisters that you might already know.

And those 7 sisters made a kite one day,

They went up a hill and the kites flew away.

Do you all want to know why they made a kite?

Well that will be easy to tell at night.

They wanted to make a kite for the new year.

Beautiful kites flying up in the air.

But wait what’s this? Look at the sky!  

Shining so bright like God’s big eye.

They look just like the sisters’ kites.

Dancing on that lovely night.

The sisters were very pleased.

And that’s the story about Matariki.

my rube goldberg shows a brother ball pushing the Dominos so the car can be pushed down by the dominos. the pushes the lever to turn on the big fan to push the brother ball in the tunnle to get he’s baby sister then they went in a bath tub. there where two wheelchairs in the bath tub so they use them for a fast way back to there family.

Zoo Trip

Last week year 3’s and 4’s went to the zoo. We all went into groups. Then we went on  the bus to the zoo. At the zoo each group went to explore. Then we looked at animals. First red pandas second otters third the kiwis. We had some morning tea where we met the zookeeper. Then we went to learn about the birds.  After a little bit of fun then came the real fun! We went to Bug Lab. We found igools.
