The article is about a plan called Ahikaroa where they were going to bring back the native bush because it was cleared years ago. The native bush is tī kōuka, mānuka, rewarewa, tītoki, kahikatea, nīkau, and kawakawa. They all helped heal people before it was cleared.

2. What do you think the author’s purpose for writing this article was?

A book about a whanau bringing back native trees after being cut down. It is also to explain the use of them like manuka.

So it‘s about this whanau  who wants to grow trees again that were cut down years ago.

I think it is important that they bring back these trees because they were also helpful for making medicine and one of them made food.

Trees are also useful for air sources in the world.

It is also useful for their cows and sheep to keep them healthy like humans.

POINT: Pollution is the worst thing in the world because of what it does to the air and water. 

EXPLANATION: Pollution is terrible because it pollutes our waters and our air. It is one of the reasons why people get sick and pass away. 

EXAMPLE: An example of this is when you look at the ocean and see rubbish in the water like plastic or when there is something in the air coming from factories. The most polluted country is Bangladesh because of something called Vehicular emissions which is vehicle pollution and industrial emissions is gas pollution. Another way of causing pollution is to use fire power more by using wood and coal. These all cause pollution.

LINK: Pollution is like a virus that spreads each day but it has a cure. Picking up rubbish is the cure and there are many other ways like spending less time driving around in a car and also using less fire power like burning wood and coal.

Layers of The Earth's Atmosphere

 

This here is the layers of the Earth's Atmosphere. The First One surrounds the Earth the closets that one is called a Troposphere it is the Earth's surface and it provides air. the next one is called a Stratosphere the second layer. Mesosphere is the third and coldest layer very chilly. The Thermosphere is the fourth and most hottest layer of them all. The final layer is Exosphere the last layer of the Atmosphere. These are all the layers of the Earth's Atmosphere
